Pappy's Tours, LLC Water Excursions out of Mackinaw City

​The idea of taking people on water excursions was put into practice by me beginning with my own family and friends dating back to the early 1980's. Several years and many boats later; fast forward to June of 2023. My son Brent, grandson Coy and I headed to Port Clinton, OH to check out a "Parker" (off shore boat) at Happy Days Boating. After a test ride on Lake Erie, I decided that if I ever started a water excursion tour business, the Parker boat would be a good fit. One year later (June 2024, almost to the day) I purchased a 2024 Parker 2320 with a Yamaha 300hp outboard motor. On September 9th, 2024 Pappy's Tours LLC became an official State of Michigan entity. The 2024 & 2025 boating seasons were spent running the boat and test tours. The 2026 boating season is planning on being the official launch season for Pappy's Tours, LLC. Home base will be the Mackinaw City Municipal Marina. The boat is trailerable and can be scheduled for other locations besides the Straits of Mackinac. I decided to name the boat "Olive" and the business "Pappy's" based on a cartoon that I enjoyed as a youngster! The water excursion tours are designed for up to 4 people with a max of 6 people on some tours, along with a Captain and Mate. The intension is to provide passengers with a private, personal and enjoyable experience.
